This year has already started with some special happenings. I have published several children's books inspired by true stories. This will be just the beginning of many more books to come from my publishing company, Psalm 121 Publishing. My pen name is Toni Michale.

** My first book "Flashlight - The Mystery Gift", in The Flashlight Series came out in January 2025. The second book in the series, "Flashlight - New Discoveries" came out on April 26th. In addition to the horse stories in The Flashlight Series, there is another book about a special dog named Stella Grace. Her series will begin with "Stella Grace - The Trash Dog". It will be available on May 15th. All books can be pre-ordered from me at this time or after the official publication date.

I have enjoyed working with amazing dogs and their humans over the years and look forward to continuing to share the passion I have to help owners with communicating better with their furry family members. In my natural training program, I focus on a natural and positive approach that is helped by learning better communication and life skills. I'm teaching many words and how to apply them to daily life.

In addition to the amazing opportunity and dream that has come true for me to write/illustrate multiple books, my goal is to still work with dog owners. Due to the number of dog training inquiries over the last year I will be announcing some new changes with the natural communication training program. In order to make the publishing dream come true I will be continuing a part-time hiatus with my training at this time but I will be accepting a limited number of new dog training clients. This may change over the next several months. Contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in my natural positive behavioral program. Please remember to take the time to be patient during the moments you spend with your dog(s) while you teach them life skills. Better communication is always the key to a life long relationship. Dogs are capable of learning so much more than most people have been taught to believe.

Let’s face it, our canine friends are our companions and friends. Just like in life with our relationships with people, sometimes life with our canine friends is chaotic and stressful. That’s where Toni’s Touch can help you. You may have small issues or lots of larger behavioral issues to deal with. Don’t worry, I will develop a personalized behavioral training program designed for you and your dog(s). Communication is a very important part of the relationship with our furry friends. Doing it in a positive and natural way is what I love to do and share with others.

My name is Toni McGuire and I created Toni’s Touch Natural K9 Behavioral Training to help humans develop a better understanding of what their canine friends are trying to tell them with their unruly or questionable behavior. God put animals on this earth for companionship to humans and He also gave us the responsibility to take care of them.

I have always enjoyed helping educate people to learn how to respect and understand what their canine friends are trying to tell them and in return, receive their furry friend’s respect, trust and companionship forever.

I begin at home where the issues can be best worked with for the dog(s) and the individuals/families. I like to include the children in the home where possible. Learning how to take care of their dog(s) develops great life lessons. Since your dog spends most of its time at home…. that’s where we will begin. People always want to take nice peaceful walks with their four legged friend but expect it just to magically occur because a leash is attached. Understanding is what is developed during each training session. We will occasionally make “field trips” depending on issues we are dealing with. I don’t just teach dog “tricks”, I help them learn lifelong lessons to be a better companion and member of the family.

If you are considering a new addition to your family pet(s), I can help assess the behavioral traits of your current dog(s). I let owners know what to look for or do with their dog(s) to better prepare for a new dog in the home. I can evaluate the possible new addition before you bring the dog home to see if it's behavior will be compatible with your current dog(s). I try to make the transition less stressful and can let you know the type of traits necessary to ease the addition.

If you are wanting to have your dog(s) trained to be a therapy dog, I can help you evaluate your pet to see if it has the temperament, manners and ability to be a therapy dog. I will help you train your dog(s) to be prepared to experience the unexpected with field trips on location to assist your dog to handle different situations.

I am a certified AKC (American Kennel Club) CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator and can administer the tests. I can assist with the training that can prepare your dog(s) for the CGC testing.

As a former veterinary technician with medical knowledge, I look at training also from a medical viewpoint and how behavioral issues can be affected by your pet's health. A positive and well rounded approach to training.
